For the guidance of the Federal Government, the Secretary shall promulgate in the name of the Board, from time to time and in such form as will carry out the purposes of this chapter, decisions with respect to geographic names and principles of geographic nomenclature and orthography.
The Secretary shall also furnish such additional information with respect to geographic names as will assist in carrying out the purposes of this chapter.
